МЕТОД: в этом исследовании участвовали 33 женщины, в том числе пережившие сексуальное насилие в раннем детстве с посттравматическим стрессовым расстройством (N = 10), пережившие насилие, но без ПТСР (N = 12) и не испытывавшие насилия и без симптомов ПТСР (N = 11). Объем гиппокампа был измерен при помощи магнитно-резонансной томографии по всем пунктам; гиппокамп и его функции измерялись с помощью позитронно-эмиссионной томографии во время выполнения задач, основанных на работе словесно-декларативной памяти у пострадавших женщин с и без ПТСР.

РЕЗУЛЬТАТЫ: у женщин, перенесших насилие и с ПТСР, наблюдается сбой активации гиппокампа и на 16 % меньший его объем по сравнению с женщинами, пережившими насилие, но без признаков ПТСР. У женщин, испытавших действия насильственного характера, объем гиппокампа на 19 % меньше объема гиппокампа у женщин, не сталкивавшихся с сексуальным насилием и без признаков ПТСР.

ВЫВОДЫ: полученные результаты говорят о дефиците гиппокампальных структур и функций при ПТСР – состояниях, вызванных действиями насильственного характера.
