Теория эмпирического обучения — синтез трудов великих ученых, по мнению которых, опыт играет ведущую роль в человеческом обучении и развитии. Мы называем их «отцы-основатели эмпирического обучения»: Уильям Джемс, Джон Дьюи, Курт Левин, Жан Пиаже, Лев Выготский, Карл Юнг, Мэри Паркер Фоллет, Карл Роджерс и Паулу Фрейре. Выше вы могли познакомиться с основными положениями их работ. Эти исследования велись на протяжении ста лет, начиная с конца XIX века (Уильям Джемс, Джон Дьюи и Мэри Паркер Фоллет) и до конца XX века (завершились со смертью Карла Роджерса и Паулу Фрейре).
