To synchronize your bank statement in Odoo, click on the CONFIGURE button under the Online Synchronization option:
In the popup that appears, click on the link Add a new bank to your system, and you will get a search box to search for your bank; enter the name, and click on the search icon:
You will see the list of banks available by country. Select the bank if your bank appears in the list. Odoo will confirm the bank with you; you will be asked to enter the username, password, and other security questions. You have to pass through the bank's security system to connect to your bank. As soon as you select the bank and confirm, it will ask you for the username and password and guide you through further security checks:
On successfully passing through the security gateway, you will get access to the bank statement. The statement will be updated in Odoo periodically. We will see how to reconcile the bank statement in the recipe Get paid through a bank or cash and reconciliation of this chapter.
