Этот список включает многие, но не все, исходные материалы, использованные для этой книги.
Кроме того, я тщательно черпал информацию из множества газетных и журнальных статей, телевизионных стенограмм, корпоративных отчетов и веб-страниц. Я подчеркиваю слово «тщательно», потому что бо́льшая часть сообщений о лекарствах в ежедневной и еженедельной прессе – несбалансированные потуги на сенсации, продиктованные сочетанием потребностей СМИ в привлечении внимания и потребностей фармацевтических компаний / корпораций в зарабатывании денег. Другими словами, когда речь заходит о лекарствах и наркотиках, в прессе, на телевидении и в Интернете (особенно в социальных сетях) появляется множество ложных, часто вводящих в заблуждение и, как правило, преувеличенных утверждений.
